Surah Al-Ahqaf, Ayah 18 (46:18)

ٱلْأَحْقَاف

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ …

Quran 46:18 is ayah 18 of Surah Al-Ahqaf (“The Wind-Curved Sandhills”), a Meccan surah of 35 ayahs. It is in Juz 26, on page 504 of the Madani Mushaf.

46:18
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَحَقَّعَلَيْهِمُٱلْقَوْلُفِىٓأُمَمٍقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلِهِممِّنَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِ ۖإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟خَٰسِرِينَ١٨
ulāika alladhīna ḥaqqa ʿalayhimu l-qawlu fī umamin qad khalat min qablihim mina l-jini wal-insi innahum kānū khāsirīna

Those are the ones upon whom the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect, [who will be] among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.(18)
