Surah Al-Ahzab, Ayah 15 (33:15)

ٱلْأَحْزَاب

وَلَقَدْ كَانُوا۟ عَٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ ۚ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ ٱللَّهِ …

Quran 33:15 is ayah 15 of Surah Al-Ahzab (“The Combined Forces”), a Medinan surah of 73 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 419 of the Madani Mushaf.

33:15
وَلَقَدْكَانُوا۟عَٰهَدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمِنقَبْلُلَايُوَلُّونَٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ ۚوَكَانَعَهْدُٱللَّهِمَسُْٔولًا١٥
walaqad kānū ʿāhadū l-laha min qablu lā yuwallūna l-adbāra wakāna ʿahdu l-lahi masūlan

And they had already promised Allāh before not to turn their backs [i.e., flee]. And ever is the promise to Allāh [that about which one will be] questioned.(15)
