Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 36 (6:36)

ٱلْأَنْعَام

۞ إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ ۘ وَٱلْمَوْتَىٰ يَبْعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ …

Quran 6:36 is ayah 36 of Surah Al-An'am (“The Cattle”), a Meccan surah of 165 ayahs. It is in Juz 7, on page 132 of the Madani Mushaf.

۞ إِنَّمَايَسْتَجِيبُٱلَّذِينَيَسْمَعُونَ ۘوَٱلْمَوْتَىٰيَبْعَثُهُمُٱللَّهُثُمَّإِلَيْهِيُرْجَعُونَ٣٦
innamā yastajību alladhīna yasmaʿūna wal-mawtā yabʿathuhumu l-lahu thumma ilayhi yur'jaʿūna

Only those who hear will respond. But the dead - Allāh will resurrect them; then to Him they will be returned.(36)
