Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 47 (6:47)

ٱلْأَنْعَام

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ …

Quran 6:47 is ayah 47 of Surah Al-An'am (“The Cattle”), a Meccan surah of 165 ayahs. It is in Juz 7, on page 133 of the Madani Mushaf.

قُلْأَرَءَيْتَكُمْإِنْأَتَىٰكُمْعَذَابُٱللَّهِبَغْتَةًأَوْجَهْرَةًهَلْيُهْلَكُإِلَّاٱلْقَوْمُٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ٤٧
qul ara-aytakum in atākum ʿadhābu l-lahi baghtatan aw jahratan hal yuh'laku illā l-qawmu l-ẓālimūna

Say, "Have you considered: if the punishment of Allāh should come to you unexpectedly or manifestly, will any be destroyed but the wrongdoing people?"(47)
