ٱلْأَعْرَاف

قَالَ أَلْقُوا۟ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟ سَحَرُوٓا۟ أَعْيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَآءُو بِسِحْرٍ …

Quran 7:116 is ayah 116 of Surah Al-A'raf (“The Heights”), a Meccan surah of 206 ayahs. It is in Juz 9, on page 164 of the Madani Mushaf.

قَالَأَلْقُوا۟ ۖفَلَمَّآأَلْقَوْا۟سَحَرُوٓا۟أَعْيُنَٱلنَّاسِوَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْوَجَآءُوبِسِحْرٍعَظِيمٍ١١٦
qāla alqū falammā alqaw saḥarū aʿyuna l-nāsi wa-is'tarhabūhum wajāū bisiḥ'rin ʿaẓīmin

He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.(116)
