وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا …

Quran 2:154 is ayah 154 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 2, on page 24 of the Madani Mushaf.

2:154

وَلَاتَقُولُوا۟لِمَنيُقْتَلُفِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِأَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚبَلْأَحْيَآءٌوَلَٰكِنلَّاتَشْعُرُونَ١٥٤

walā taqūlū liman yuq'talu fī sabīli l-lahi amwātun bal aḥyāon walākin lā tashʿurūna

And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allāh, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.(154)
