فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا نَكَٰلًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

Quran 2:66 is ayah 66 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 1, on page 10 of the Madani Mushaf.

2:66

فَجَعَلْنَٰهَانَكَٰلًالِّمَابَيْنَيَدَيْهَاوَمَاخَلْفَهَاوَمَوْعِظَةًلِّلْمُتَّقِينَ٦٦

fajaʿalnāhā nakālan limā bayna yadayhā wamā khalfahā wamawʿiẓatan lil'muttaqīna

And We made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded [them] and a lesson for those who fear Allāh.(66)
