Surah Al-Hashr, Ayah 15 (59:15)

ٱلْحَشْر

كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيبًا ۖ ذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Quran 59:15 is ayah 15 of Surah Al-Hashr (“The Exile”), a Medinan surah of 24 ayahs. It is in Juz 28, on page 547 of the Madani Mushaf.

كَمَثَلِٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْقَرِيبًا ۖذَاقُوا۟وَبَالَأَمْرِهِمْوَلَهُمْعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌ١٥
kamathali alladhīna min qablihim qarīban dhāqū wabāla amrihim walahum ʿadhābun alīmun

[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.(15)
