45:8
يَسْمَعُءَايَٰتِٱللَّهِتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِثُمَّيُصِرُّمُسْتَكْبِرًاكَأَنلَّمْيَسْمَعْهَا ۖفَبَشِّرْهُبِعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍ٨
yasmaʿu āyāti l-lahi tut'lā ʿalayhi thumma yuṣirru mus'takbiran ka-an lam yasmaʿhā fabashir'hu biʿadhābin alīmin
Who hears the verses of Allāh recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.(8)
