يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍۭ بِبَنِيهِ

Quran 70:11 is ayah 11 of Surah Al-Ma'arij (“The Ascending Stairways”), a Meccan surah of 44 ayahs. It is in Juz 29, on page 569 of the Madani Mushaf.

70:11

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚيَوَدُّٱلْمُجْرِمُلَوْيَفْتَدِىمِنْعَذَابِيَوْمِئِذٍۭبِبَنِيهِ١١

yubaṣṣarūnahum yawaddu l-muj'rimu law yaftadī min ʿadhābi yawmi-idhin bibanīhi

They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children.(11)
