Surah Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 50 (5:50)

ٱلْمَائِدَة

أَفَحُكْمَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ

Quran 5:50 is ayah 50 of Surah Al-Ma'idah (“The Table Spread”), a Medinan surah of 120 ayahs. It is in Juz 6, on page 116 of the Madani Mushaf.

أَفَحُكْمَٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِيَبْغُونَ ۚوَمَنْأَحْسَنُمِنَٱللَّهِحُكْمًالِّقَوْمٍيُوقِنُونَ٥٠
afaḥuk'ma l-jāhiliyati yabghūna waman aḥsanu mina l-lahi ḥuk'man liqawmin yūqinūna

Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allāh in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith].(50)
