وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا …

Quran 5:58 is ayah 58 of Surah Al-Ma'idah (“The Table Spread”), a Medinan surah of 120 ayahs. It is in Juz 6, on page 118 of the Madani Mushaf.

5:58

وَإِذَانَادَيْتُمْإِلَىٱلصَّلَوٰةِٱتَّخَذُوهَاهُزُوًاوَلَعِبًا ۚذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمْقَوْمٌلَّايَعْقِلُونَ٥٨

wa-idhā nādaytum ilā l-ṣalati ittakhadhūhā huzuwan walaʿiban dhālika bi-annahum qawmun lā yaʿqilūna

And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason.(58)
