Surah Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 81 (5:81)

ٱلْمَائِدَة

وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلنَّبِىِّ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا ٱتَّخَذُوهُمْ …

Quran 5:81 is ayah 81 of Surah Al-Ma'idah (“The Table Spread”), a Medinan surah of 120 ayahs. It is in Juz 6, on page 121 of the Madani Mushaf.

5:81
وَلَوْكَانُوا۟يُؤْمِنُونَبِٱللَّهِوَٱلنَّبِىِّوَمَآأُنزِلَإِلَيْهِمَاٱتَّخَذُوهُمْأَوْلِيَآءَوَلَٰكِنَّكَثِيرًامِّنْهُمْفَٰسِقُونَ٨١
walaw kānū yu'minūna bil-lahi wal-nabiyi wamā unzila ilayhi mā ittakhadhūhum awliyāa walākinna kathīran min'hum fāsiqūna

And if they had believed in Allāh and the Prophet and in what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them as allies; but many of them are defiantly disobedient.(81)
