Surah Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 84 (5:84)

ٱلْمَائِدَة

وَمَا لَنَا لَا نُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا …

Quran 5:84 is ayah 84 of Surah Al-Ma'idah (“The Table Spread”), a Medinan surah of 120 ayahs. It is in Juz 7, on page 122 of the Madani Mushaf.

5:84
وَمَالَنَالَانُؤْمِنُبِٱللَّهِوَمَاجَآءَنَامِنَٱلْحَقِّوَنَطْمَعُأَنيُدْخِلَنَارَبُّنَامَعَٱلْقَوْمِٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ٨٤
wamā lanā lā nu'minu bil-lahi wamā jāanā mina l-ḥaqi wanaṭmaʿu an yud'khilanā rabbunā maʿa l-qawmi l-ṣāliḥīna

And why should we not believe in Allāh and what has come to us of the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people."(84)
