Surah Al-Mulk, Ayah 5 (67:5)

ٱلْمُلْك

وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ ۖ …

Quran 67:5 is ayah 5 of Surah Al-Mulk (“The Sovereignty”), a Meccan surah of 30 ayahs. It is in Juz 29, on page 562 of the Madani Mushaf.

67:5
وَلَقَدْزَيَّنَّاٱلسَّمَآءَٱلدُّنْيَابِمَصَٰبِيحَوَجَعَلْنَٰهَارُجُومًالِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ ۖوَأَعْتَدْنَالَهُمْعَذَابَٱلسَّعِيرِ٥
walaqad zayyannā l-samāa l-dun'yā bimaṣābīḥa wajaʿalnāhā rujūman lilshayāṭīni wa-aʿtadnā lahum ʿadhāba l-saʿīri

And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars] and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.(5)
