Surah Ali 'Imran, Ayah 157 (3:157)

آلِ عِمْرَان

وَلَئِن قُتِلْتُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا …

Quran 3:157 is ayah 157 of Surah Ali 'Imran (“Family of Imran”), a Medinan surah of 200 ayahs. It is in Juz 4, on page 70 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَلَئِنقُتِلْتُمْفِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِأَوْمُتُّمْلَمَغْفِرَةٌمِّنَٱللَّهِوَرَحْمَةٌخَيْرٌمِّمَّايَجْمَعُونَ١٥٧
wala-in qutil'tum fī sabīli l-lahi aw muttum lamaghfiratun mina l-lahi waraḥmatun khayrun mimmā yajmaʿūna

And if you are killed in the cause of Allāh or die - then forgiveness from Allāh and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world].(157)
