وَمَآ أَصَٰبَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْتَقَى ٱلْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Quran 3:166 is ayah 166 of Surah Ali 'Imran (“Family of Imran”), a Medinan surah of 200 ayahs. It is in Juz 4, on page 72 of the Madani Mushaf.

3:166

وَمَآأَصَٰبَكُمْيَوْمَٱلْتَقَىٱلْجَمْعَانِفَبِإِذْنِٱللَّهِوَلِيَعْلَمَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ١٦٦

wamā aṣābakum yawma l-taqā l-jamʿāni fabi-idh'ni l-lahi waliyaʿlama l-mu'minīna

And what struck you on the day the two armies met [at Uḥud] was by permission of Allāh that He might make evident the [true] believers(166)
