آلِ عِمْرَان

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا۟ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ ۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِى …

Quran 3:24 is ayah 24 of Surah Ali 'Imran (“Family of Imran”), a Medinan surah of 200 ayahs. It is in Juz 3, on page 53 of the Madani Mushaf.

ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمْقَالُوا۟لَنتَمَسَّنَاٱلنَّارُإِلَّآأَيَّامًامَّعْدُودَٰتٍ ۖوَغَرَّهُمْفِىدِينِهِممَّاكَانُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَ٢٤
dhālika bi-annahum qālū lan tamassanā l-nāru illā ayyāman maʿdūdātin wagharrahum fī dīnihim mā kānū yaftarūna

That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.(24)
