Surah An-Nahl, Ayah 62 (16:62)

ٱلنَّحْل

وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ ٱلْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ لَا …

Quran 16:62 is ayah 62 of Surah An-Nahl (“The Bee”), a Meccan surah of 128 ayahs. It is in Juz 14, on page 273 of the Madani Mushaf.

16:62
وَيَجْعَلُونَلِلَّهِمَايَكْرَهُونَوَتَصِفُأَلْسِنَتُهُمُٱلْكَذِبَأَنَّلَهُمُٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖلَاجَرَمَأَنَّلَهُمُٱلنَّارَوَأَنَّهُممُّفْرَطُونَ٦٢
wayajʿalūna lillahi mā yakrahūna wataṣifu alsinatuhumu l-kadhiba anna lahumu l-ḥus'nā lā jarama anna lahumu l-nāra wa-annahum muf'raṭūna

And they attribute to Allāh that which they dislike [i.e., daughters], and their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [from Him]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire, and they will be [therein] neglected.(62)
