Surah An-Naml, Ayah 24 (27:24)

ٱلنَّمْل

وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ …

Quran 27:24 is ayah 24 of Surah An-Naml (“The Ant”), a Meccan surah of 93 ayahs. It is in Juz 19, on page 379 of the Madani Mushaf.

27:24
وَجَدتُّهَاوَقَوْمَهَايَسْجُدُونَلِلشَّمْسِمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَزَيَّنَلَهُمُٱلشَّيْطَٰنُأَعْمَٰلَهُمْفَصَدَّهُمْعَنِٱلسَّبِيلِفَهُمْلَايَهْتَدُونَ٢٤
wajadttuhā waqawmahā yasjudūna lilshamsi min dūni l-lahi wazayyana lahumu l-shayṭānu aʿmālahum faṣaddahum ʿani l-sabīli fahum lā yahtadūna

I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allāh, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,(24)
