Surah An-Nur, Ayah 13 (24:13)

ٱلنُّور

لَّوْلَا جَآءُو عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا۟ بِٱلشُّهَدَآءِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ …

Quran 24:13 is ayah 13 of Surah An-Nur (“The Light”), a Medinan surah of 64 ayahs. It is in Juz 18, on page 351 of the Madani Mushaf.

24:13
لَّوْلَاجَآءُوعَلَيْهِبِأَرْبَعَةِشُهَدَآءَ ۚفَإِذْلَمْيَأْتُوا۟بِٱلشُّهَدَآءِفَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَعِندَٱللَّهِهُمُٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ١٣
lawlā jāū ʿalayhi bi-arbaʿati shuhadāa fa-idh lam yatū bil-shuhadāi fa-ulāika ʿinda l-lahi humu l-kādhibūna

Why did they [who slandered] not produce for it four witnesses? And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they, in the sight of Allāh, who are the liars.(13)
