Surah Ar-Rum, Ayah 39 (30:39)

ٱلرُّوم

وَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَا۟ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ …

Quran 30:39 is ayah 39 of Surah Ar-Rum (“The Romans”), a Meccan surah of 60 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 408 of the Madani Mushaf.

30:39
وَمَآءَاتَيْتُممِّنرِّبًالِّيَرْبُوَا۟فِىٓأَمْوَٰلِٱلنَّاسِفَلَايَرْبُوا۟عِندَٱللَّهِ ۖوَمَآءَاتَيْتُممِّنزَكَوٰةٍتُرِيدُونَوَجْهَٱللَّهِفَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ٣٩
wamā ātaytum min riban liyarbuwā fī amwāli l-nāsi falā yarbū ʿinda l-lahi wamā ātaytum min zakatin turīdūna wajha l-lahi fa-ulāika humu l-muḍ'ʿifūna

And whatever you give for interest [i.e., advantage] to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allāh. But what you give in zakāh, desiring the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh - those are the multipliers.(39)

  22. ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَl-muḍ'ʿifūna(will) get manifold
