Quran 61:8 is ayah 8 of Surah As-Saf (“The Ranks”), a Medinan surah of 14 ayahs. It is in Juz 28, on page 552 of the Madani Mushaf.

61:8

يُرِيدُونَلِيُطْفُِٔوا۟نُورَٱللَّهِبِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْوَٱللَّهُمُتِمُّنُورِهِۦوَلَوْكَرِهَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ٨

yurīdūna liyuṭ'fiū nūra l-lahi bi-afwāhihim wal-lahu mutimmu nūrihi walaw kariha l-kāfirūna

They want to extinguish the light of Allāh with their mouths, but Allāh will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.(8)
