Surah Ash-Shuraa, Ayah 24 (42:24)

ٱلشُّورَىٰ

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا ۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ ۗ …

Quran 42:24 is ayah 24 of Surah Ash-Shuraa (“The Consultation”), a Meccan surah of 53 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 486 of the Madani Mushaf.

42:24
أَمْيَقُولُونَٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًا ۖفَإِنيَشَإِٱللَّهُيَخْتِمْعَلَىٰقَلْبِكَ ۗوَيَمْحُٱللَّهُٱلْبَٰطِلَوَيُحِقُّٱلْحَقَّبِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلِيمٌۢبِذَاتِٱلصُّدُورِ٢٤
am yaqūlūna if'tarā ʿalā l-lahi kadhiban fa-in yasha-i l-lahu yakhtim ʿalā qalbika wayamḥu l-lahu l-bāṭila wayuḥiqqu l-ḥaqa bikalimātihi innahu ʿalīmun bidhāti l-ṣudūri

Or do they say, "He has invented about Allāh a lie"? But if Allāh willed, He could seal over your heart. And Allāh eliminates falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.(24)

  18. بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚbikalimātihiby His Words
  19. إِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed, He
  20. عَلِيمٌۢʿalīmun(is) All-Knowing
  21. بِذَاتِbidhātiof what
  22. ٱلصُّدُورِl-ṣudūri(is in) the breasts
