أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَٰثًا ۖ وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَآءُ عَقِيمًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ

Quran 42:50 is ayah 50 of Surah Ash-Shuraa (“The Consultation”), a Meccan surah of 53 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 488 of the Madani Mushaf.

42:50

أَوْيُزَوِّجُهُمْذُكْرَانًاوَإِنَٰثًا ۖوَيَجْعَلُمَنيَشَآءُعَقِيمًا ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلِيمٌقَدِيرٌ٥٠

aw yuzawwijuhum dhuk'rānan wa-ināthan wayajʿalu man yashāu ʿaqīman innahu ʿalīmun qadīrun

Or He makes them [both] males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent.(50)
