ٱلتَّوْبَة

إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا۟ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ …

Quran 9:39 is ayah 39 of Surah At-Tawbah (“The Repentance”), a Medinan surah of 129 ayahs. It is in Juz 10, on page 193 of the Madani Mushaf.

9:39
إِلَّاتَنفِرُوا۟يُعَذِّبْكُمْعَذَابًاأَلِيمًاوَيَسْتَبْدِلْقَوْمًاغَيْرَكُمْوَلَاتَضُرُّوهُشَئًْا ۗوَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍقَدِيرٌ٣٩
illā tanfirū yuʿadhib'kum ʿadhāban alīman wayastabdil qawman ghayrakum walā taḍurrūhu shayan wal-lahu ʿalā kulli shayin qadīrun

If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allāh is over all things competent.(39)
