Surah At-Tawbah, Ayah 54 (9:54)

ٱلتَّوْبَة

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَٰتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ …

Quran 9:54 is ayah 54 of Surah At-Tawbah (“The Repentance”), a Medinan surah of 129 ayahs. It is in Juz 10, on page 195 of the Madani Mushaf.

9:54
وَمَامَنَعَهُمْأَنتُقْبَلَمِنْهُمْنَفَقَٰتُهُمْإِلَّآأَنَّهُمْكَفَرُوا۟بِٱللَّهِوَبِرَسُولِهِۦوَلَايَأْتُونَٱلصَّلَوٰةَإِلَّاوَهُمْكُسَالَىٰوَلَايُنفِقُونَإِلَّاوَهُمْكَٰرِهُونَ٥٤
wamā manaʿahum an tuq'bala min'hum nafaqātuhum illā annahum kafarū bil-lahi wabirasūlihi walā yatūna l-ṣalata illā wahum kusālā walā yunfiqūna illā wahum kārihūna

And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allāh and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.(54)
