Surah At-Tawbah, Ayah 96 (9:96)

ٱلتَّوْبَة

يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ …

Quran 9:96 is ayah 96 of Surah At-Tawbah (“The Repentance”), a Medinan surah of 129 ayahs. It is in Juz 11, on page 202 of the Madani Mushaf.

9:96
يَحْلِفُونَلَكُمْلِتَرْضَوْا۟عَنْهُمْ ۖفَإِنتَرْضَوْا۟عَنْهُمْفَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَرْضَىٰعَنِٱلْقَوْمِٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ٩٦
yaḥlifūna lakum litarḍaw ʿanhum fa-in tarḍaw ʿanhum fa-inna l-laha lā yarḍā ʿani l-qawmi l-fāsiqīna

They swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them - indeed, Allāh is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people.(96)
