Surah Az-Zukhruf, Ayah 33 (43:33)

ٱلزُّخْرُف

وَلَوْلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ …

Quran 43:33 is ayah 33 of Surah Az-Zukhruf (“The Ornaments of Gold”), a Meccan surah of 89 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 491 of the Madani Mushaf.

43:33
وَلَوْلَآأَنيَكُونَٱلنَّاسُأُمَّةًوَٰحِدَةًلَّجَعَلْنَالِمَنيَكْفُرُبِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِلِبُيُوتِهِمْسُقُفًامِّنفِضَّةٍوَمَعَارِجَعَلَيْهَايَظْهَرُونَ٣٣
walawlā an yakūna l-nāsu ummatan wāḥidatan lajaʿalnā liman yakfuru bil-raḥmāni libuyūtihim suqufan min fiḍḍatin wamaʿārija ʿalayhā yaẓharūna

And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount.(33)
