Surah Az-Zukhruf, Ayah 48 (43:48)

ٱلزُّخْرُف

وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِىَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا ۖ وَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ …

Quran 43:48 is ayah 48 of Surah Az-Zukhruf (“The Ornaments of Gold”), a Meccan surah of 89 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 493 of the Madani Mushaf.

43:48
وَمَانُرِيهِممِّنْءَايَةٍإِلَّاهِىَأَكْبَرُمِنْأُخْتِهَا ۖوَأَخَذْنَٰهُمبِٱلْعَذَابِلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ٤٨
wamā nurīhim min āyatin illā hiya akbaru min ukh'tihā wa-akhadhnāhum bil-ʿadhābi laʿallahum yarjiʿūna

And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith].(48)
