Surah Saba, Ayah 37 (34:37)

سَبَأ

وَمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِى تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِندَنَا زُلْفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ …

Quran 34:37 is ayah 37 of Surah Saba (“Sheba”), a Meccan surah of 54 ayahs. It is in Juz 22, on page 432 of the Madani Mushaf.

34:37
وَمَآأَمْوَٰلُكُمْوَلَآأَوْلَٰدُكُمبِٱلَّتِىتُقَرِّبُكُمْعِندَنَازُلْفَىٰٓإِلَّامَنْءَامَنَوَعَمِلَصَٰلِحًافَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَلَهُمْجَزَآءُٱلضِّعْفِبِمَاعَمِلُوا۟وَهُمْفِىٱلْغُرُفَٰتِءَامِنُونَ٣٧
wamā amwālukum walā awlādukum bi-allatī tuqarribukum ʿindanā zul'fā illā man āmana waʿamila ṣāliḥan fa-ulāika lahum jazāu l-ḍiʿ'fi bimā ʿamilū wahum fī l-ghurufāti āminūna

And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].(37)

  16. جَزَآءُjazāu(will be) reward
  17. ٱلضِّعْفِl-ḍiʿ'fitwo-fold
  18. بِمَاbimāfor what
  19. عَمِلُوا۟ʿamilūthey did
  20. وَهُمْwahumand they
  21. فِىfī(will be) in
  22. ٱلْغُرُفَٰتِl-ghurufātithe high dwellings
  23. ءَامِنُونَāminūnasecure
