قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ …

Quran 38:75 is ayah 75 of Surah Sad (“The Letter "Saad"”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 23, on page 457 of the Madani Mushaf.

قَالَيَٰٓإِبْلِيسُمَامَنَعَكَأَنتَسْجُدَلِمَاخَلَقْتُبِيَدَىَّ ۖأَسْتَكْبَرْتَأَمْكُنتَمِنَٱلْعَالِينَ٧٥
qāla yāib'līsu mā manaʿaka an tasjuda limā khalaqtu biyadayya astakbarta am kunta mina l-ʿālīna

[Allāh] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?"(75)
