يُوسُف

قَالَ قَآئِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ لَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ يُوسُفَ وَأَلْقُوهُ فِى غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلْجُبِّ يَلْتَقِطْهُ بَعْضُ …

Quran 12:10 is ayah 10 of Surah Yusuf (“Joseph”), a Meccan surah of 111 ayahs. It is in Juz 12, on page 236 of the Madani Mushaf.

قَالَقَآئِلٌمِّنْهُمْلَاتَقْتُلُوا۟يُوسُفَوَأَلْقُوهُفِىغَيَٰبَتِٱلْجُبِّيَلْتَقِطْهُبَعْضُٱلسَّيَّارَةِإِنكُنتُمْفَٰعِلِينَ١٠
qāla qāilun min'hum lā taqtulū yūsufa wa-alqūhu fī ghayābati l-jubi yaltaqiṭ'hu baʿḍu l-sayārati in kuntum fāʿilīna

Said a speaker among them, "Do not kill Joseph but throw him into the bottom of the well; some travelers will pick him up - if you would do [something]."(10)
