يُوسُف

نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ …

Quran 12:3 is ayah 3 of Surah Yusuf (“Joseph”), a Meccan surah of 111 ayahs. It is in Juz 12, on page 235 of the Madani Mushaf.

12:3
نَحْنُنَقُصُّعَلَيْكَأَحْسَنَٱلْقَصَصِبِمَآأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَيْكَهَٰذَاٱلْقُرْءَانَوَإِنكُنتَمِنقَبْلِهِۦلَمِنَٱلْغَٰفِلِينَ٣
naḥnu naquṣṣu ʿalayka aḥsana l-qaṣaṣi bimā awḥaynā ilayka hādhā l-qur'āna wa-in kunta min qablihi lamina l-ghāfilīna

We relate to you, [O Muḥammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur’ān although you were, before it, among the unaware.(3)
