Surah Al-Anfal, Ayah 32 (8:32)

ٱلْأَنْفَال

وَإِذْ قَالُوا۟ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً …

Quran 8:32 is ayah 32 of Surah Al-Anfal (“The Spoils of War”), a Medinan surah of 75 ayahs. It is in Juz 9, on page 180 of the Madani Mushaf.

8:32
وَإِذْقَالُوا۟ٱللَّهُمَّإِنكَانَهَٰذَاهُوَٱلْحَقَّمِنْعِندِكَفَأَمْطِرْعَلَيْنَاحِجَارَةًمِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِأَوِٱئْتِنَابِعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍ٣٢
wa-idh qālū l-lahuma in kāna hādhā huwa l-ḥaqa min ʿindika fa-amṭir ʿalaynā ḥijāratan mina l-samāi awi i'tinā biʿadhābin alīmin

And [remember] when they said, "O Allāh, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment."(32)
