Surah Al-Mumtahanah, Ayah 8 (60:8)

ٱلْمُمْتَحَنَة

لَّا يَنْهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن …

Quran 60:8 is ayah 8 of Surah Al-Mumtahanah (“She that is to be examined”), a Medinan surah of 13 ayahs. It is in Juz 28, on page 550 of the Madani Mushaf.

60:8
لَّايَنْهَىٰكُمُٱللَّهُعَنِٱلَّذِينَلَمْيُقَٰتِلُوكُمْفِىٱلدِّينِوَلَمْيُخْرِجُوكُممِّندِيَٰرِكُمْأَنتَبَرُّوهُمْوَتُقْسِطُوٓا۟إِلَيْهِمْ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَيُحِبُّٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ٨
lā yanhākumu l-lahu ʿani alladhīna lam yuqātilūkum fī l-dīni walam yukh'rijūkum min diyārikum an tabarrūhum watuq'siṭū ilayhim inna l-laha yuḥibbu l-muq'siṭīna

Allāh does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allāh loves those who act justly.(8)
