ٱلنُّور

وَإِذَا بَلَغَ ٱلْأَطْفَٰلُ مِنكُمُ ٱلْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَْٔذِنُوا۟ كَمَا ٱسْتَْٔذَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن …

Quran 24:59 is ayah 59 of Surah An-Nur (“The Light”), a Medinan surah of 64 ayahs. It is in Juz 18, on page 358 of the Madani Mushaf.

24:59
وَإِذَابَلَغَٱلْأَطْفَٰلُمِنكُمُٱلْحُلُمَفَلْيَسْتَْٔذِنُوا۟كَمَاٱسْتَْٔذَنَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيُبَيِّنُٱللَّهُلَكُمْءَايَٰتِهِۦ ۗوَٱللَّهُعَلِيمٌحَكِيمٌ٥٩
wa-idhā balagha l-aṭfālu minkumu l-ḥuluma falyastadhinū kamā is'tadhana alladhīna min qablihim kadhālika yubayyinu l-lahu lakum āyātihi wal-lahu ʿalīmun ḥakīmun

And when the children among you reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] as those before them have done. Thus does Allāh make clear to you His verses; and Allāh is Knowing and Wise.(59)

  17. وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allah
  18. عَلِيمٌʿalīmun(is) All-Knower
  19. حَكِيمٌḥakīmunAll-Wise
