وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

Quran 32:21 is ayah 21 of Surah As-Sajdah (“The Prostration”), a Meccan surah of 30 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 417 of the Madani Mushaf.

32:21

وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُممِّنَٱلْعَذَابِٱلْأَدْنَىٰدُونَٱلْعَذَابِٱلْأَكْبَرِلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ٢١

walanudhīqannahum mina l-ʿadhābi l-adnā dūna l-ʿadhābi l-akbari laʿallahum yarjiʿūna

And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return [i.e., repent].(21)
